A Logo Design Process That Works

Design Brief
The first step is to discuss your logo vision and ideas with one of LogoNow’s Brand Managers and to submit a design brief. Our design brief covers the style, colour, look, feel and details of your logo. Our design brief also asks questions about your business and your competition. Our goal in this step is to learn what we need to about your business and what your vision is for your new logo.

Grey Scale Concepts
Using the design brief you provided us we create a set of three design concepts, each a little different, and each in grey scale. We intentionally use grey scale as opposed to full colour initially so that you can see the designs in their raw form. We do not want you and your team to be distracted by colours at this point.

Full Colour Concepts
Of course, full colour is our ultimate goal. Now, taking your feedback and the colour information you provided us during your design brief we add colour. We present a few more concepts, now in full colour allowing you to see the final shape and colour of the logo.

Font and Finishing Touches
Your logo at this point has started to take shape and is close to a final product. We will discuss final changes to the logos design as well as concentrate on getting the font and wording just right. Unless previously determined we will show you a couple of font variations.

Final Formats
Once you have approved the final designs we provide your logo in all of the modern file formats. Typically we include .JPG, transparent .PNG, .PDF, .AI and .SVG. If there are additional file formats you need we usually include them free of charge as well.
